UKLA ACADEMY Language School is located in Nilufer, Bursa and offers a creative learning environment, a communicative approach to language learning, and a philosophy emphasizing individual goals and development in an academic setting. The new school campus is designed with the goal of surrounding learners with an environment conducive to learning.

UKLA has earned an enviable reputation for providing learners with a wide range of language courses. UKLA offers year-round English programs for young learners, teenagers, and adults who wish to improve their knowledge of English for career or business purposes, or to enter colleges and universities in Turkey. In addition to General English programs, UKLA also offers German, Italian and French Language Courses.

The institution offers continuous scholarships to people in need with different sociocultural backgrounds via five on-going projects which they finance themselves. This makes them a socially responsible company.

“We founded UKLA 14 years ago. We were very young; experienced enough (as we all worked through college) to know the ways of the business world, but inexperienced enough to still believe that you can make a difference. I guess that was the perfect amount to get started, and eventually make a difference.
In a society dictating what you should do in life, and how, I feel that being brave is the first thing you would need to do great things. Believe in your work, and do what it takes to create something that you will be proud to call yours. Secondly, being passionate about your work, loving what you do is something that energizes you whenever you feel overwhelmed. Working with passion empowers you and lets you build something meaningful. Being optimistic is another quality to achieve success. You may see negative, cynical people around pulling you down, just don’t listen. Team up with people that feel the same way about the same things. Believe in them, and remember that people tend to behave according to your expectations of them. If you trust them to do great things, they will. That kind of synergy will allow you to keep going and move forward even though things get hard at times. You will make mistakes, and it is OK. Just remember to learn from your mistakes, work smart and always try to excel in what you do. You are your own competition. You set the bar.”
